BOW & ARROW RIG

                  Hello everyone....Here is another rigging assignment, Bow & Arrow. Here we supposed to rig a Bow and Arrow. So i started with modelling a simple bow and arrow model. Here i needed 3 Main control curves for this rig. They are,
  1. Bow control
  2. Arrow control 
  3. String control


             


                   Unlike the previous rigs, here I used the Joints with Inverse Kinematics Mechanism for the bow. The root joint will be at the center of the bow and 2 IKs will make it work to get the bending of the bow.


                    In this assignment we learnt a new term called Space Switch, where the objects can have multiple parents. Since the arrow should move along with the bow and string, it also should have the freedom of moving everywhere in the space. So we create New attribute (ENUM Attr) with the drop down menu of World, Bow, Arrow. 


                   The arrow control will have the switch attribute and the switch will be connected through the Driven key.



                The arrow spin will be controlled through an Expression,  
Arrow_spin_grp.rotateX = time * Arrow_ctrl.SPIN_SPEED;
